Future Post at Fieldays 2026: Recycled Plastic Solutions for Agriculture
June saw the Future Post team head to Mystery Creek for Fieldays 2026 – the Southern Hemisphere’s largest agricultural event and a major showcase for innovation, technology and practical farming solutions.
This year, more than 132,000 visitors attended over four days, with Wednesday recording the largest opening day attendance in recent Fieldays history. With fantastic weather throughout the event, there was a real buzz around the site from start to finish.
For the Future Post team, Fieldays was a great opportunity to catch up with existing customers, meet new faces and chat with farmers, contractors, gardeners, industry leaders and politicians about the growing role recycled plastic products can play in New Zealand agriculture.
Our conversations centred around our mission to divert plastic waste from landfill and give it a second life as durable, maintenance-free products designed to last for decades.
We also ran a prize draw to win one of our popular Future Post Garden Beds. Congratulations to our lucky winner – we hope it provides years of productive growing!
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the Future Post stand, shared their experiences, asked questions or simply came to find out more about what we do.
After four busy days at Fieldays, we headed home inspired by the conversations and connections made – and ready to keep turning New Zealand’s plastic waste into products made to last.
